Arcadia Plaza A. Olivas Security guard threatened violence Arcadia California
I went to lunch at Arcadia Plaza on 713 W. Duarte Rd. in Arcadia. After I parked my park, I stepped out to check my parking, and then got back into my car to gather my wallets and keys.
The security guard, A. Olivas, came over and accused me of parking in his lot and then going somewhere else. I denied it, but he persisted. We got into a big argument. He then proceeded to threaten to hit me. He backed off after I mentioned the police.
I contacted the property owners, but so far they have done nothing. The security guard seems to be friends with his manager, so it's pointless to complain to his company.
This was not the my first encounter with a bully security guard. I'm seeing more and more of these arrogant, rude, and belligerent rent-a-cops. Something must be done.
