Complaint Review: Arch Moving

Arch Moving Charge me for the move, then sent a follow up Invoice 8 Days Later St. Louis Missouri

The movers showed up about 6 hours late from the orginal time. I was told 1115 am CST and the movers showed up at 5 PM CST. I was told 3 team members would show and only 2 did, for fast moving. I was approached by one of team and was told that he sees more than what is on the list of items to move, so I could make a choice, I could either tip him really well or he could call the dispatch and have them re-do the original bid. I never saw the inventory list.The move was complete by 1030 PM CST and one of team members called his employer, he was given the price of the bill, I wrote the check, the check cleared 2 days later, 8 days later I get an Outstanding Invoice or 400 plus that they want me to pay. I signed a document stating that nothing was broke and all my household good were delivered, the to the movers wanted to leave and go home. Hurry hurry hurry, sign this. I have alot of broken picture frames, bottled items that I bought when I was traveling. I would not  hire this moving comany. They strong arm, scam or whatever is required to get more money from the customer. One thing regarding initial invoice: The truck mileage is 3.00 per mile. 125.00 mininum. 

Long Distance F-S 1 Truck x 60.36 miles @ $3.00 per mile ($125.00 minimum) $181.08 Not sure h*e Arch does their math. It was a one way trip.

I would highly recommend you select another moving company.
