Archer rv of Houston POS sold w\of in forming us of previous damage Houston Texas
Me and my fiance purchased an rv from this dealership in October of 2014. We bought it as a starter home. We were not informed of any damage on the rv, and as first time buyer's had no clue what to look for. We had a few problems right off, the sink in the kitchen and bathroom we're both cracked. At first glance they looked like scratches. So we couldn't use them till we replaced them. We have had many problems with the door not latching and we have had to reset the door with every move. The support under the tub gave out and the tub cracked. The hot water tank never worked properly, and stopped working after about 2 months. We finally started to inspect the rv after having many more problems, and much worse problems. The trailer break had been cut so we tried to repair it, and they would just lock up. We looked at the frame (it's been separating from the house) and it is all twisted. There is patch work done to the back and the back bumper is missing. So as far as we can tell this rv was in an accident. The floor is rotting away and buckling. We have had this rv for 9 months now and still owe 5000$ on it. We had bad credit we have been trying to fix and archer rv provides in house financing to those with bad credit. The only reason we went with them. My disgust with this company is more then words can describe. We are having to find something that is cheap just to hope to get out of this thing and it will probably cost us all the work we put into fixing our credit. As long as the weather is nice we might get one more month out of this thing before it is completely unlivable. This company is untrustworthy. When selling something used it is the law to disclose all and any damage the product has seen. We were told it was a trade in. Now with a toddler and a baby on the way our home is falling apart around us.
