Complaint Review: Architect's Inn - George Champlin Mason House - Newport Rhode Island

I posted about THE ARCHITECT'S INN - GEORGE CHAMPLIN MASON HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST in Newport, Rhode Island on Trip Advisor, and although my review was approved and posted by Trip Advisor,  the owners of this inn - Nick Malone and Brian Malone very likely had it removed.  Why?  Because I told the truth about my HORRIFIC experience there!  This place is the biggest RIPOFF!

When my wife and I got there we found out that our room was on the third floor - up a very narrow staircase.  I had just had a hip replacement, and my wife was seven months pregnant, and so I knew we'd have difficulty climbing those stairs.  Nick Malone said that was the only room in the inn, and that he wouldn't change rooms for us.  We managed the climb -  carrying our luggage, and without our shoes - because he made us take them off at the front door.  There was also no offer on his part to carry our luggage, instead, from the bottom of the stairs, he just watched us struggle with our luggage.  My wife says that he had a smirk on his face the whole time! 

When we got to our room, I found that I couldn't stand straight up.  I'm 5' 10" and the ceiling was maybe 5' 6".   And if that wasn't bad enough, when I saw there was no bathroom - the bathroom was a shared bathroom down the hall -   this started an argument and before we knew it Nick Malone said - "Get the %&#@ out of my house."  When I got my VISA bill I saw that he had the nerve to charge us for the three nights, I called VISA, and thank goodness VISA didn't make us pay for it because we had a charge at another inn for the same three nights.  

When I started reading the reviews of THE ARCHITECT'S INN - GEORGE CHAMPLIN MASON HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST in Newport, Rhode Island, I began to see a pattern - so many of the positive reviews were all saying basically the same thing, and they all named the two owners, (Nick Malone and Brian Malone) they all talked about how gracious they were, what wonderful breakfasts they served, the proximity to the town, the elegant decor, etc. When you read through enough of these bogus reviews it becomes crystal clear that these two owners - Nick Malone and Brian Malone are writing these reviews themselves about THE ARCHITECT'S INN - GEORGE CHAMPLIN MASON HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST in Newport, Rhode Island. And while that's disgusting in itself, and disgusting that Trip Advisor is not on to it, what we can't understand is how they managed to get Trip Advisor to delete my wife's previous review about THE ARCHITECT'S INN - GEORGE CHAMPLIN MASON HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST in Newport, Rhode Island.

SO avoid this place -THE ARCHITECT'S INN - GEORGE CHAMPLIN MASON HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST in Newport, Rhode Island - the place is creepy and its owners are even creepier!
