I searched for about 30 minutes on this site.

They offered a 7 day free trial, and asked for payment information.

I entered the info, did my 30 minutes of searching, then cancelled the trial and deleted my payment info.
7 days later, a charge came through on my account from INF*ARCHIVES.COM.  I went to the web site and checked my account information.

I was listed as having purchased a 3 month subscription w/7 day trial.

I thought, "shame on me, I must not have read the fine print". I cancelled again, even though I had successfully cancelled it the first time.

On the "You have successfully cancelled" page, I was provided with a link to check my subscription status.  I clicked that and found that I had been NEWLY subscribed to an annual membership w/7 day free trial.

I am disputing the transaction via my card company.

Beware of this web site.  It is very difficult to find the page to check your subscription information.  You can find instructions for getting there deep in the help information.

Very shady business practices.

I have already opened a ticket and contacted customer support (which is only open during the hours I am at work).  I have had no response.

I also filed comments on the cancellation page.
