Complaint Review: Arco Mastercard Fleetcor

We had an Arco Credit card. We had about 5 for our business.  We incurred ridiculous late fees and the customer service is horrendous.  We decided to close this account and that's where more problems incurred besides the ones I just mentioned.

In the beginning of October, I called their customer service to inquire about closing the account.  They sent over the proper paperwork via email.  I filled it out the next day and sent it over by email.  We assumed the account was closed.  We told all of out employees that the card was closed and to throw them away. 

In December, I receive a bill for around $300.  I'm baffled because I thought the account was closed.  I immediately call customer service.  They inform me that there were charges towards the end of October.  I tell them that's impossible because the account was closed in the beginning of October.  They then tell me that the account wasn't closed until November 1?  What kind of company closes an account a month later?  I told them that they are fraudelent charges.  I open a dispute in January.

They never notify us that the dispute is closed.  Just yesterday I emailed them asking what the status is and then they send back a report saying we are liable for the charges and the dispute is closed. They said we are responsible for charges on lost and stolen cards.  That is absurd.  They also sent out our statement to an outside creditor and saying we owe in 5 days on top of a extra $100 charge.  They also reported us to our creditors even though this was in a dispute that they just closed over 2 months late.  This is going to affect our credit. We are livid.

We would like to contact a lawyer for the stress and damages this has caused us. They are a fraudelent company.
