Ardent Property Management-Fieldstone Trace Fieldstone the Icebox with poor management Westerville Ohio
I relocated to Columbus, Ohio a little over a year ago. I had to move in a hurry and wasn't familiar with the area. I chose Fieldstone Trace due to the square footage and it looked clean. Boy was I wrong!
When I first moved in the central air didn't work. It was blowing out hot air in 90 degree weather! That lasted for three to four days and on top of it I was pregant. I called to complain but the management made excuses that they havne't been ran in awhile. They have came and charged the unit a few times but its never solved the problem.
Winter approaches and it is freezing in here! It feels like it is warmer outside than it is in my house. I have two kids and they could careless. I've told them to replace the windows but they refuse to do that! My gas bill is through the roof. I have to put the heat on 80-85 to keep it 70-73 in here. This place is insane and so outdated. On top of that I have to share my water and electric bill with the other people in the same building. There r no individual meters to determine who used what. I'm sure I'm being overcharged for the usage. All of the utilities r out of control.
I've tried to get an electric heater to heat up the place but the circuits r constantly blowing along with the microwave. I can't run anything without the circuit breaker shutting everything down. I could go on and on about this place. I recommend not to rent here. I'm in the process of looking for a new place. I can't take another winter of the icebox and the sky high utilities! What a freaking discrace!

Yeah, if you DO move, beware. Make sure you take PLENTY of pictures. This place is very twisted and will rob you blind with their "so-called" moveout/damage charges that do not exist. Make sure you take plenty of pictures and have an attorney on hand. And also, NEVER talk to the collections people hired by Fieldstone. They're nothing more than rude money-hungry idiots. Do your research online here regarding ANYTHING owned by Ardent Property Management and you'll see what I mean. Good luck.
