Complaint Review: Area Circulation aka Smart Shoppers Savings Club

 This company uses different names area circulation, magazine savings dollar savings smart shoppers savings club and none of them are legitimate. They prey on anyone stupid enough to give them a credit card. People are on the phone begging them to stop calling and they call them back the next day, next week next month, they dont care. Its sad cause they get away with it and after they charge hundreds even thousands of dollars to these peoples cards they sit back and laugh about it, high fiving and mocking these people on the phone begging them for mercy. If you refuse to pay they call you over and over again, til you can take no more.

They have an F rating with the bbb and they lie and tell you they will charge one payment and as soon as you get off the line they run with your card. People change bank accounts and they still lie to them saying thats not our company and in essence it really is. They allow the employees to disrepect the customers by humiliatimg them and once they get your ok they sit back and talk about how stupid the customer was to give out their information. One woman said her daughter had suffered an injury to her head and could not make decisions for herself they charged her over 500 dollars for one or two magazines and they were going to get her for 500 more til the mom stepped in. There is so much to say I cant tell it all.

If you have an account demand your money back, get a lawyer and sue make them pay for what they have done to consumers. A lady' a husband died, they told her she n was responsible for her dead husbands acct and charged her hundreds of dollars, no shame at all. They must be stopped they are ripping people off and the employees work for pennies while they get richer using whomever they can to make them money and when you dont agree with their tactics they let you go. Wake up people get your money back sad enough the irs is ripping you off, dont let them get away with this.
