Complaint Review: Area Publications Inc. Balsam Lake WI 54810

I got fast talked into a magazine program with automatic payments of $39/mo from Area Publication magazines Inc supposedly by Barbie Roberts xx 128th St N, Mn 55038. phone 1-320-421-9134 located in Alexandria Mn. The magazines were never the same and none that I actually ordered. I through them out as I had no interest in most of them. The address I googled was a residental home listed for sale and is fake! I tried canceling the subscription but they refused and wanted $750 to cancel the subscription! Then they opened more than one account and started billing my credit card for $59 twice a month! I called the credit card company and they stopped payment. They then have sent me three notices demanding $179, $239.20 and $598 to Pay in "Full!" They also threatened my credit rating aand are referring me to a collection agency!

The address of these bills were in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin.
