I will start off by telling you what happened when I went to AZAUTOSDIRECT located in phoenix arizona. I was looking for a 03-04 mustang cobra. They had a 03 online so I gave them a call to look at the car. I met Ken the owner who came across as a very nice guy.

I looked at the car and liked it very much. Took it for my first test ride and it felt nice but it made a funny nose. I told Rob the salesman, Do you hear that?" He said," Hear what?" I said maybe its just me, oh well. I was there for hours trying to make up my mind the loan seem ok but could not make my mind up. It was getting late that night and I when ahead and signed the papers. I lived 50 miles one way from this place. I drove home and I started to hear noises again. I got a bad feeling about the car. When I got home I looked over the car since I had a 04 cobra for two years. There was ticking from the motor and I know for a fact what makes that noise. Just to be sure, I had my friend who re-builds mustangs look it over. He said the car was badly hurt. I called first thing the next day and said I dont want this car please take it back it has a broken motor. After a couple of days of trying to get a hold of them, Ken the owner said Im shocked that youre the only one to find this. After going back and forth for a while, He had ford look over the car and it was broken and not cheap to fix.

I drove a car from their lot for two weeks while they tried to figure out what they wanted to do. Ken told me we need to get you a car. I told him well I don't want anything here. He said well you have to buy something here or you can keep the cobra. They also refused to give me my car back, saying it had already been sold, which I don't believe since I called them back in such a short amount of time. I spent another week looking for a car. They had a guy trade in a 07 mustang gt on wed. I told ken lets make it happen and he said he would need the car to get looked over before anything else. He told me Im sorry for what has happen and I want to make things right for you. He said they would buy my cobra back for what was paid for. He showed me the loan for the mustang and I did not like it because the loan amount was not what the car was worth. He told me sorry but this loan Im making no money on and trust me this is a better loan then what you had.  I kept telling them I don't like this loan at all. Ken kept saying what is it you don't like about it. I said well the mustang loan is too high and youre bringing over a lot of money from the cobra loan so youre really not taking care of me. Another late night at the dealer and ken said if you sign I will get you a better rate. That was on a Friday. Sat Ken left me a voice mail and texted me he got me a really good rate and lower payment.

The loan was for 9.99% and the lower rate was going to be 7.9%. Ken told me that I should call in a week or two to make sure its right. I called about 40 days before my first payment was due and wellsfargo said, We have nothing saying your rate is going to be 7.9%." Ken told me I will have this fixed and you will be fine. 45 days later still have nothing and the dealer said, There is nothing we can do for you its up to the bank." After calling the bank several times, they told me that the loan was up to the dealer, so I got back in touch with them and they told me they never changed loan rates and they didn't see what the problem was and why couldn't I just deal with it and re-finance later?

On top of their shady loan dealings, the car that I ended up with has broken Cadillac converters and because of this, the car won't pass emissions. Since the car cannot pass emissions, it is illegal for the dealer to sell it to me, so in the end, they sold me two badly broken cars, coned me into a loan with a bad interest rate, lied to me, gave me the run around and we are talking over 2 months of dealing with them, and refused to sell me my own car back, forcing me to buy something that wasn't worth what I gave them. This has been the worst dealer I have ever been to. I'm not sure what else there is I can do or anyone out there who I can turn to, but this is wrong how this dealer is treating people.
