Seems like the same scam others here are talking about. Answered Craiglist add for an Rv. They instructed me that it was being stored and sold by Ark Auto Consignors. Checked out the website. It was pretty intricate but did have some operational flaws. Googled them and found a bunch of detailed reviews that praised them. They were all fake.

After I got robbed for $27,000 i looked into them and they had the same peoples names in different cities on different dates and different vehicles. But it was to late at that time. The email conversation with the seller was pretty detailed. Not your typical foreigner trying to communicate with bad grammar. The thing that killed me was when I could not get anyone on the phone at Ark Auto I emailed the seller and they said to use the "Live Chat" option. And yes it worked.

They chatted me up about the process and how I would be delivered my vehicle. Answered all my questions via "Live Chat" .  I received an invoice and wired the money to TD Bank in Miami FL. They emailed me a bill of sale. I tried to get ahold of them  2 days later and "Live Chat" no longer worked. Seller didn't respond to email. I called my bank to Alert the other bank but it was too late. They froze the account but of course the scums  took the money out right when it hit their account.

I have been in contact with the fraud department at TD Bank. They said that they have some information about the individual who owned that account. They will not give it to me. I filed a report with my local police department. TD Bank says if my local police contact them they will release the information to them. I assume the local police will give me that info if they get it.

For some reason you chose to ignore the multiple scam alerts posted on craigslist:

• Deal locally, face-to-face — follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts.

• Do not extend payment to anyone you have not met in person.

• Beware offers involving shipping - deal with locals you can meet in person.

• Never wire funds (e.g. Western Union) - anyone who asks you to is a scammer.

• Transactions are between users only, no third party provides a "guarantee".

• Do not rent or purchase sight-unseen—that amazing "deal" may not exist.
