Ark  Flooring Review:

About 1%, has peeled up at the edges (16 out of 1600 planks).  I asked them to replace the ones that peeled up, but they claim that they are not reponsible and they hanged up.

The floor itself is beautiful, however, the "variation"  in color is very extreme.  I would estimate that only 20% approximates the color of the sample planks.  About 1/4 of the total floor was so far away from the expected color that they should have been returned.  I was really disappointed with this aspect of the floor.

If you are going to use Ark products, I would get a written promise to replace peeling or edge lifting boards.

I would also ask them to accept return planks.  If they were to agree, you should order an excess of about 125% of your needs. Review and return about 20% of the order. Example:  you need 40 boxes (1300 sf). Order 50 boxes. Sort out the MOST oddball planks which will total 10 boxes and return them.  Even with the return, your floor will be very different from the sample and may disappoint you, but it will be an utterly fantastic looking floor.  I also suggext hand selecting planks for high visibility areas.

As for Justin Hernandez, he is a failure. He AKA's as Bella Nuvo Flooring.  Email: bellanuvoflooring@gmail.com  He did work very hard for me and wrote a good deal for me, but he does not know good flooring installation and therefore cannot inspect and supervise his installers his installer's work. His installer is "Eric" who works hard and does quality work very fast. But here wer patches of under glued and loose plannks. One could feel the mushy areas as you walked over tem as opposed to the rock solid feel of the rest of the floor. Eric vowed to fix the proble, but he took a month to return and fixed only one half of just one out of three areas.  He over glued the one area leaving blobs of over glue bubling up between panks.  Wose yet, there is a noticable hump the hallway from the overglued boards.  Eric then said he would return (in a month) to "inject" glue.  A month later, Eric was a no show and said that he forgot the appointment.  The following week, he was a no show again claiming to be sick. He even seriously started coughing on the phone.  This week he is a no show again.  Justin Hernandez no longer works for Ark Flooring.
