Letter of Complaint

June 18, 2008

This letter is to serve as a formal complaint against, Arkad Enterprises/James Blake. James Blake was hired to construct our home for a cost of 100,000.00. Blake received $50,000.00 from our personal account, with regular inspections of the construction done by us.

Blake withdrew from our line of credit with Farmers and Merchant Bank, $40.000.00, without our knowledge or consent.

On January 28, 2008, our contract with Arkad Enterprises expired, without the completion of our home. See attached contract.

James Blake withdrew $6,000.00, from our account on 1/11/2008, for cabinets and installation, and failed to provide product of quality and cost of that amount. Amount of damages, $4,000.00, for replacement of cabinets and installation.

He refuses to supply any receipts or invoice for service, labor or cost of construction.

He refused to give us a key to our home, even after we closed on it with the bank.

He failed to pay Creasy Well Drilling Co. $2,300.00, for the cost of the well. Blake received $8,000.00, on 09/26/07, for the cost of the Well and Septic Tank, please see attached invoice, bank statement, and copy of check.

He failed to pay Sub-Contractor Randy Hancock, $1162.28, for trim and finish work, please see attached invoice.

He failed to construct the drive-way or entrance way to the home. Damages in the amount of $1,600.00 with future damages estimated at $2,000.00. See attached invoice.

We have attempted to resolve this with Blake but he has refused to produce any receipts until this day. James Blake fraudulently placed a lien on our home for $10,000.00. We were willing to settle with Blake, but he refused our letter by mail. We were informed by R. Chauncy of Farmers and Merchant Bank that Blake saw the letter which served as an Offer of Settlement.

The manner in which we have been treated by James Blake has been most un-professional.
