The story began with David Church of Arkansas who signed up for my company's Internet Access. He didn't read the policy and later found out that he had signed up for the 150 hour a month plan. My company had limited and unlimited plans.

After complaining he promised to get us in trouble because he knows Mark Pryor, the former Attorney General. Pryor immediately contacted us and asked for a voluntary contribution to the AG office in order to settle this. He was running for Senator back then.

After many wasted hours of back and forth letters and lawyer fees, he agreed to stop harassing us and we agreed in return to not go public and ruin his election campaign. He was elected Senator and on the last day on office as Attorney General he filed a law suit against me and my company, claiming things we had never heard of and things no customer ever complained of either.

Pryor abused his power as AG to do his friend David a favor and get us in trouble. After over a year, the court hasn't even decided on anything. Yet, the current Attorney General Mike Beebe continues to harass me and also continues his libel and slander campaign on my company.

In press releases they claim we send spam as well as other companies they sued for spam. And now we are part of their anti-spam crusade. We have never sent a single spam e-mail! Beebe's lawyers also continued to harass me at home and sending ridiculous amounts of paperwork. They call this a motion to discover. I don't know what they want to discover. They are basically asking me for info that they should research on their own if they think they have a claim.

They also claim to have the right to get all our customer info, which we of course don't agree with and will never release. We'll have to wait and see how much more ridiculous this whole things gets. Oh, Beebe too was just asking for a voluntary contribution to the AG office to settle this. It looks like if we had done something illegal, all we had to do is pay them a bribe to get off the hook. But since we did not do anything illegal, we are not paying a single penny, but we will fight this abuse of power and injustice.
