Arlington Fuel Oil Paul Campbell Installed Oil Burner that failed within 4 years Arlington, Massachusetts
Arlington Fuel Oil is a company that does not stand behind their work. Arlington Fuel Oil installed a new furnace in my house in July of 2005. In December 2009, the furnace cut off and I called them. They told me that I needed a new furnace, again! Since it was December, I had no choice but to have a new one installed immediately. The total cost was around $5,700. The boiler company agreed to pay $1900. Arlington Fuel Oil wanted me to pay the rest. When I protested, they tried to blame the failure on me, even though I had never touched the system and 100% of the maintenance was done by them. The owner, Paul Campbell, called me and told me that he planned to take me to court. He claimed that there was likely "vapor leaks" in my system that caused it to fail, even though the leaks are not detectable. He did offer to deduct about $500-$600, which was an insult. So, that's where we stand as of March 2011.
