Arlington Toyota's "certified" collision repair shop is so incompetent that much of the work had to be redone. But the really bad part is that their Icar certified technicians spray-painted the interior of my car with exterior paint, leaving it with a bumpy texture and a hazy look. Arlinton Toyota attempted to clean the dried-on paint with industrial solvents. To anyone who details or restores cars, this is simply not done. Solvents will eat the plastic. This is what has happened after I politely returned 3 times to Arlinton asking them to correct the damages they'd done. Gene Mills and Miller McCormick simply deny that there is paint on the surfaces or that the plastic has a milky and scratched appearance.

30 days after I bought a new Ford Explorer, some SOB kid hit me. He was racing another car. His speedo cracked at 96 mph. It happened in front of Red McCombs Ford. I bought it there so I figured they would do a good, quick job. Boy was I wrong. They had the vehicle for 21 days and did a crappy job. I think the only reason they got the vehicle out in that period of time was because I kept calling them. My wife had an accident and the independant repair shop had the car out in 5 days, with much better work. You would have thought a dealer would have done a quicker, better job. Learned a lesson, for repair work take your vehicles to an independant repair shop. It's what they do for a living, not a sideline.
