Basically I was at a gas station that I go to every week or so when a heavily Italian spoken man approached me. Asked me if I spoke Italian because I looked like I am. Told him no, but he began to use the script that I have seen all victims of scam say: They say they are in town for a collection in the city thats being dropped and he's leaving to LA the following day. Said something about not wanting to pay the taxes or whatever (which I wasnt too sure about) and that he is looking to give away free jackets that they have just made. Supposedly the jackets were anywhere from $900-$1000 each and that he'd give me all 3 for a fair price. Blinded by his con artist expertise, I had completely fallen for it. He showed me his wallet which had hundreds and 20's in it (which I imagine were another scam victims cash) and he said money isn't a problem. I had some cash on me at the time and gave the guy $300 -.- thinking I was actually getting a good deal. He did show me his business card and some of the information was overlapping eachother which I found funny but still went completely over my head. I tried looking for him thinking he'd be around some gas stations near the area but I could only imagine he took off.

Moral of the story: if it's too good to be true, it more than likely is. Watch out for these guys and don't believe a word they say. If anything, rob the guy and report them.
