First off, I started recording the second the woman walked outside. That is why the passenger window was down. Second, she made no attempt to even see if she was incorrect in charging extra fees and told us Ford was wrong, not her. On the phone we informed her that we had a child with us. I did not once raise my voice. You are welcome to your opinion but the recording on my phone is very clear. We have filed a complaint with Ford and I am sending the file to the better business bureau. All I said from my car was "can I ask a question" and the lady started telling and told me to shut up. She made no attempt to say she was wrong or apologize for her mistake. She was extremely hostile. But again, it's all recorded so she can't really deny her behavior. We were only trying to see if we could get a copy of the paper that was signed. She never even let me ask. Seems to me that when someone is down and has had their vehicle repossessed and crying that you would try to calm the situation down, not be angry and defensive and make it worse. Im sure these ladies deal with some very angry people but assuming we were angry instead of confused was unfair. She was very adamant that she was correct in charging more fees and never offered to look at the contract until we had Ford call her while on the line with us. From the very beginning she was rude and seems like that is just how she deals with people. The one thing I learned in the military is CYA. Don't give out wrong information and always make sure you can back up what you say. She was in no way trying to verify if she was right. She in no way was offering to check and see if Ford was right. It's not often you are asked to sign something and told you can't have a copy, hence the confusion. We just wanted to make sure they couldn't come back and try to charge anything else. My friend was very upset and not even sure what she was signing. She felt very intimidated by the angry woman talking down to her. We just wanted to ask again if she could have a copy of what was signed. When the woman was telling at me I wasn't even speaking back. She even walked away and came back to tell some more.even if I had been telling, she is the one who is supposed to be professional, at work, doing a job so telling people to shut up is inappropriate. The fact that it's being defended and the company is not apologizing but supporting that behavior is extremely wrong. I have apologized to customers who were flat out wrong because it was ths right thing to do. Armor seems to believe telling people to shut up is good business.

The lady complaining

#10UPDATE Employee

I'd like to start off by saying the woman complaining about our redemption process doesn't understand that it's a policy we follow . She isn't even on this account but found it really important to yell and scream at the woman working for Armor. We didn't know that our client wasn't charging a redemption fee until we called but she wouldn't give us a chance to try and contact out client. She said we were yelling in front of her daughter? Funny she was the one screaming and it wasn't even her account. We treat every person that walks in the door with respect and we do our best to make a bad situation as pleasant as possible. The ladies car was repo'd so I'm sure she was a little upset. Sorry your experience wasn't as good as you thought it was going to be.

Disgusted Customer

#10Consumer Comment

Tue, November 13, 2012

I recently took a friend to get her car from Armor Recovery Solutions and was absolutely disgusted by the way we were both treated. They first tried to charge her an extra $450 and when we let them know that Ford Credit instructed us that they were not to add any fees, they told us Ford was lying. Instead of just looking at the contract, they insisted they were right. We had to have Ford call them on 3-way and straighten it out. They were extremely rude to both my friend and I. I was trying to ask if there was any paperwork at all for her since she did sign something (I wanted to see if we could get a copy) and I was cut off and told to Shut Up and screamed at in front of my 10 month old daughter. This was an unfortunate situation my friend got into and she was just trying to straighten it out.

We weren't even allowed to ask a simple question and we were treated like criminals. I have never been yelled at, sworn at and treated so poorly in my life. The women there are terrible people and I don't know how they are allowed to keep their jobs. They told us there was no supervisor and actually walked away while yelling at us. I am military and have always carried myself in a professional manner. I was not being rude, loud or inappropriate. I am thoroughly disgusted and am filing complaints with Ford, the BBB and anywhere else I can. My friend is doing the same. This situation has made me sick. I actually couldn't believe how rude these women were. I did get most of their yelling recorded on my phone. I didn't want them to come back and try to add any charges since they wouldn't give my friend a receipt or a copy of what they told her she had to sign.

I want to start off by saying whoever the person is that reported this is a disgruntel employee or a person who got repossessed. I know my boss is not in the business to please people he repossess cars.

We have had problems with employees in this business for the last 14 years! If armor was a scam artist like the person posting claims how would they be in business for the last 16 years?? I know for a fact that Armor Recovery takes good care of employees that work here, im one of them.

He has four of us that have been here for over 7 years so that itself says alot on its own. Ive gone to the people in charge @ Armor coutless times for my pay early or help and they have always been there for me..Again this post is COMPLETLY wrong and I feel bad for my boss for someone SLANDERING his business!

This guy got fired for smoking crack which  ! His name is Chad and he works for Scottsdale recovery now who is under investigation for auto theft. Anyone that knows Chad knows why he put this posting up. He has a huge issue with my boss at Armor Recovery for having him arrested for theft of personal property then had the guts to walk back in and ask for his $200 pay check! Im the one the defused the whole thing and made sure my boss didnt kill him let alone not pay him. Chad has ripped off from what we are guessing over $7,000 worth of stuff. He should be the one on ripoffreport.com
