Complaint Review: Armour Security Guarding Wolverhampton

Was approached by a "security officer" about a week ago in a local store who told me I must leave the store because I was recently caught shoplifting there. This is completely untrue as I had never been to Wolverhampton before this time.

His English was terrible and it took him a few times to even tell me using correct English, I guess Armour make a point of employing stupid, uneducated staff. On top of this, he had an attitude problem and kept placing his hand on my back pushing me towards the door. I understand force can be used to remove a person but this should always be the last resort and not commence immediately after telling me what the problem was.

The store staff looked on at the situation with disgust and I know the store manager wasn't happy with his conduct. So I asked the manager which company they use for their security and she gave me the details for Armour Security Guarding in Wolverhampton.

The guard began to push me again towards the door with some considerable force at which point I turned around and pushed him back. As he came towards me again I pushed him away for a second time. All this time I was moving towards the exit until a third time he ran towards me and shouted "you white c*nt" whilst pulling back his arm with a clenched fist. He punched me in the side of the head and to my delight, 2 police officers were walking past who saw the punch.

The "officer" was immediately arrested and even tried to resist which resulted in more police arriving. Eventually he was thrown into the back of a van.

I made a complaint of assault and that will be dealt with in due course but this company is employing the worst possible staff. If your store uses Armour's guards, I would start shopping around as their reputation is going to bring yours down too.
