Arotek International will not correct problems with the delivery and quality of their products

We ordered $553.00 worth of Bamboo plants from Arotek International, 13436 Rose Street, Cerritos, CA 90703. They arrived to our door frozen and poorly packed. We paid the carrier for the COD Order, (553. Money order), before we opened the box. It was not until after we opened the box and the carrier, (Fedex), had left that we discovered the damaged plants.

Most of the plants were frozen and covered in ice. Many of the individual packages of bamboo had split open during shipping, inside the undamaged outer box. The order appeared fine upon delivery until we opened the box.

Arotek says that they will not reimburse or pay for any shipping charges. If I want them to consider giving me a refund then I have to ship the entire order back to California via overnight mail, ($150.00), at my cost, and when they get the plants back they will consider whether or not they will give us a partial refund. The order was packed poorly and Arotek failed to insure the order properly thus resulting in our loss of $553. worth of bamboo as well as many administrative costs.

Requested Resolution: Arotek should replace the entire order and ship the order to our store, properly packed, at no additional charge to us. They failed to deliver a healthy, sellable product and will do nothing to correct the situation.
