wanted to make you all aware of an employee named Haydee Chavira, that is working in your office. I am a business owner and have also worked in the recruitment field. This woman you have working for you is a menace. Because of her actions you will now be listed on The Rip Off Report and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau , to file a complaint!

my husband was recently laid off from a company that's reducing their workforce. He has over 27 years experience in the electrical field. A licenced Journeyman Electrician and part of the Union as well. He applied at Hurst Electric for an opening there. You're employee lied to him 8 times. Promised she'd call him back regarding this position but never did. Also gave him a faulty drug test. He has since taken another one that came out negative. I will also make your client, Hurst Electric, aware of this outrage.

No one is entitled to a position.  Your husband went and spoke with someone with no authority to hire him, did he?  I would also never place blame the office employee you identify here and if you REALLY worked in the recruiting field, then you would know the person your husband would need to directly contact was a hiring manager, or at least a foreman.

If this is the person you contacted for a job, then you wasted your time.  If after 27 years as a journeyman, and 3-4 years before that as an apprentice....if your husband managed to not establish a network with any of his union brothers to get himself into another firm....then shame on him.

I would also tell you the clean drug test he subsequently took....means nothing....unless the clean drug test was either administered by the company, or it was administered by the union.

Finally, complaining to the BBB means nothing, since the BBB doesn't work for you - they work for its members.  They have no enforcement authority for anything.  Further, when people look to determine whether a company is competent, then they look for people to speak about how well they perform work, not whether the woman at the front desk was rude.
