Arrowhead Behavioral Health: Kathleen E. Gillespie : Bad Ethics : Sun City, Arizona
This person looks good on paper, but don't let that fool you. Her practice is nothing more then a joke. While working through some minor issues with my family, which didn't require a counselor in the first place, this "licensed" counselor gladly took money, and the role of parent in my family. She brought the parents in to discuss what behavior they would like to have changed in me, while accepting a small fee to have her unattested agreement, and predetermined the punishment before they heard my side of the argument. She then brought me in. At that point it was nothing but continuous reeming for 30 minutes over minor things that could have been discussed in private at home. After her endless bantering, and being told, "well it looks like you have a conscience, " because I new what I had done was wrong, was over I felt worse for what I had done before I went into the 10 X 10 chamber of misery. There was no construction and no middle man in this situation. Just three people against one. I can personally relate my bouts of depression to this women, and my family and I having a terrible relationship after that meeting. This was one of the worst experiences that I have ever dealt with, and the ethics of the situation are less than to be desired. This counselor uses her vested power to manipulate the mindset of her clients. Do not use her, unless you enjoy antidepressants for the rest of your life.
