A/C system was not working at a rental property.

Customer Called 800 ARS number at 1:15 PM
Customer told that there was a $119.95 service call.
Service Technician Arrived at property at 4:30 PM
Service Technician met with tenant.
Service Technician Found defective 45UF Capacitor. Charged customer $148.00 for part.
45UF Capacitor can be bought for $19.00

Service Technician Found Defective Thermostat. Charged customer $220.00
Exact same thermostat at Home Depot for $64.99
Left at 5:15 PM
No Call for Approval of any of the above services from Landlord. Only Approval was for a $119.00 service call.

Customer receives invoice from ARS in the amount of $487.95. Customer contested the charges with Accounting department and was transferred to customer service. While customer was waiting for their customer service department to get back to them ARS sent customer invoice to their legal department and was sent a "Final Notice Due" invoice. Customer was eventually contacted by their customer service and was told that was given their standard charges and that there would be no adjustment or consideration.

Summery:
Charged customer $368.00 for parts that cost $84.00
We checked with 3 other A/C service companies and their "Standard Prices" were 50% lower than ARS with a NO CHARGE for service call or a max of $39.99.
Customers fault for trusting the Big Name Elaborate WEB Site Company.
