Complaint Review: ARS Rescue Rooter

ARS Rescue Rooter Significant Price Gouging Centennial, Colorado

Beware of this company and the prices they charge for parts. ARS told me my inducer motor was leaking at the gasket and a replacement gasket was not available. After $600 for the motor and $300 for a celiniod, I found out from the furnace manufacturer the gasket was sold separately.

I tried to get the attention of ARS but got nowhere. Now they won't answer any of my inquiries.

Unfortunately, when the house is cold and the furnace isn't working there really isn't ample time to do my homework. Shame on me! Don't do business with these people. You'll regret it.

ARS Makes Good

After writing this report, I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB forwarded my complaint to the company. After verifying my facts, ARS agreed to refund the price of the parts. They have done so. Appears we needed to get the information to the right people. I was unable to do so but the BBB was successful. My thanks to the BBB and to ARS,
