Artesian Pools & Spas Inc. Stainless steel fittings rusting after three months Bloomsburg, PA
Two grab bars and a flange fitting, in our pool, are rusting after only three months. It took three months from our first notice of this problem to get a responce. They will not warrenttee the items. My research tells my that the items were probably not 'Electro Polished'.
This process removes iron not reacted with the nickle and chromium. It's this iron that is suseptible to oxidize (rust). A pretty essential process for any stainless steel in a wet envioronment.
