This company is not to be trusted! Don't do business with them. They should be shut down by the authorities.

Their website extols their wonderful plating expertise and service but it's BS, they seem to just take watches in and keep them.

In early 2004 I dealt with Dave Vinson, owner and went over having two watches expertly dissasembled and gold plated. We agreed on a price for their best service - $375. I sent them.

The watches are heirlooms and irrereplaceable.

After a series of excuses, he stopped responding to emails and never answers the phone.

The last email received was July 20, 2005. Now nothing after several emails.

Hi Stan, I sure did. In fact I have been forwarding yours and 2 other customers to the watch assembler do convey how much he is letting us all down and how tired you/we are on this.

As a result of the flaky local watch assemblers we are no longer accepting any watches for replating unless they are already disassembled. Its regrettable but the pain of letting customers down is more than can be tolerated any longer.

I will get your watches to you as soon as humanly possible new crystal or no new crystal and return them to you.

This whole things stinks and I am sorry you were on the recieving end of this.
Best regards, Dave
