Arvixe Web Hosting Arvixe No Customer Service Internet
Arvixe use to be a real stand up company with great customer service. I must sayu that has changed a lot in the last year. There customer service is next to none and there QA department is even worse. My site went off line about 16 hours or so ago. I contacted them thru Live chat and spoke to a person (Manu George) and he assured me that he would send it to a admin and they would look at it in a hour tops. Well the whole day went by andf they have not even looked at the support tickets.
I then contacted sales as I hat to be lied to and spoke with (Joey Porcelli) and he then jumped on it and said that 2 admins were working on it Now. I told him to cancel my account as I have lost potentially $1200. I ask for 2 months refund which amounted to 11.00 and I would stay with them for hosting. He said that was not a option and then closed my account per my request.
I have been with them a long time and you would think that a company would try to save business? I just want to warn everyone to be careful when picking a host. This company has a lot of awards but dont let them fool you. Anyway the choice is yours if you want a cheap company who will not suppot you 100% or id you want to pay a few bucks more and have 100% report.

After sending several email to QA We have fixed all our
issues. All companies have there ups and downs and Arvixe is no different. I am
really happy that Arvixe stepped up and fixed this issue. The company use to be
#1 in my book for hosting providers and as far as Im concerned after having
these issues the are on top of all problems and will continue to be #1.
I believe if they keep going the way they are going the will
stay on top! After speaking with QA they are on top of the game it was just a
shame that it had to go this far. I will recommend them 100% to anyone who
needs a quality hosting provider. They
took care of all issues and I would recommend them to anyone.
So with that said I believe they are a trustworthy company
and I will continue to do business with them!

I have been in the hosting / Website game since windows 3.1 days and I have numerous clients that use Arvixe as thier hosting provider. Just like any provider there is going to be X amount of hardware issues and things of that nature that happen causing outages. I have never had an issue with Arvixe support taking care of the problem in a timely manner.
My issue with your report is that you are only telling the part or the story and are trying to blame Arvixe for not offering you a refund that you are not ENTITLED to .
Every time that I have had an extended Issue ( server outages over an hour) with Arvixe The Server team headed by a Guru named Ryan creates a post at http://forum.arvixe.com/smf/servernetwork-status/ and will update it every so often till the issue is resolved. If the outage you are talking about was in fact the servers they would have sent you a link to follow the progress.
Why would you contact someone is SALES regarding an outage? What is a rep in SALES, supposed to do about an outage?
Refund: Like all other hosts Arvixe has a 90 day money back and a 99% up-time guarantee. You were WELL past the 90 day mark, and asking for a 2 month refund is way beyond what you are ENTITLED to according to the contract that you have with them.
Last but not least the estimated loss's you are trying to get us to swallow. NOBODY in there right mind is going to have a site that is bring in $100.00 an hr on a shared hosting account. At the very least you would be running a VPS but most likely a dedicated server.
This is supposed to be a forum for legitimate complaints of unethical business practices, not a forum for fiction writers. If you are going to "Enhance your story" keep it in the realm of reality!!!! Actual hosting professional

Problem Fixed

After Several emails the company made it right and refunded 1 payment
and said they would refund the other soon. They also sent this.
(I certainly apologize that you feel that way, but the Terms of Service that you
agreed to clearly state that you are not eligible for a refund.
Additionally, the problem was resolved, so what exactly do you believe
was the "rip off"?
(I've refunded one of your most recent two payments, and will refund the
other as soon as Paypal removes the temporary hold. Please note that
this is done as a show of good faith, not because I believe we have
wronged you in some way.)
All in all it has been fix except for all the time and effort I put in on this site. Guess that is just part of doing business.
