It all sounded so good. They had a "low mileage, tested" engine ready to ship for my 2002 Jetta Diesel. So I sent them my credit card authorization and waited. The engine came after a while and my mechanic put it in. This was back in April. I drove it for 10 miles and the engine light came on. No oil pressure. The engine had spun a bearing and was useless. Paid to have it removed and was told to ship it back. ASAP said they would assist me with my costs. Back it went. After many phone calls they told me I was getting a rebuilt engine. Phone call after phone call and the second engine showed up some time in late June. Again I paid to have it installed.

GUESS WHAT HAPPENED? 50-100 miles later the engine blew!!!!! Out it came again and was shipped back on August 3.Since then I have talked to the general manager, accounting manager, and several others at ASAP regarding a refund but have gotten nowhere! They promised me, the Better Business Bureau and the local District Attorney that I would get my money back, but all I get is a run around!!!!! So here I am 6 months later, 2 junk engines installed and removed at my expense($2400.00), $3000.00 in their pocket and all I get when I call them is excuse after excuse.

Today, the general manager Dina, said she couldn't understand why I was upset and wouldn't address my refund.I wish I would have looked at this site (which is filled with similar horrors, called the Houston BBB(which has hundreds of complaints regarding ASAP)before I wasted my time and money. My experience with ASAP has been absolutely horrible. I believe their advertising is deceptive, their personnel is trained to give the run around once you pay, and their management has no intention of returning my money. Think twice before you buy something from this company.

A month later, many phone calls, certified letters and still no response. Ms. Dina Hoover of ASAP the supposed general manager told me she didn't have time to review my refund request and then after I mentioned this has been going on since August, hung up on me. I call the accounting department who state they have given all the information to Dina. They always ask for my phone number and say they'll get back to me, but NEVER do. A total rip off!!!
