ASAP motors sent me a transmission for my 1997 Mazda. When I first called to get information, I was told the transmission would be a rebuilt unit. I called back later to place order and did not verify this (bad move.) Transmission arrived and was installed by local shop with very good reputation. Many parts on "new" tranny were mangled, broken, or non-functional so parts were taken from "old" unit. After install, the transmission slipped from the first test drive. Fluid level, computer codes, sensors, wires were all checked and all indicated that transmission was not tested and was not functional. Is this is what "quality tested" means to ASAP???

Manager said that the tranny was warrantied, but threatened that if I drove it any more, that it would be considered abuse and that it would not be warrantied. This was my only mode of transportation and I just spent $730 in labor to have bad tranny installed. Why would I take another chance on another bad transmission from this place? Beware!! Hopefully this saves someone else lots of headaches and wampum.
