Complaint Review: Asap Van Lines

I hired ASAP van lines to move my furniture to Garner NC. I was told that all my boxes needed to be taped and boxed up. I explained to the salesman that I had a 62 inch large TV and 2 end tables and a coffee table along with a dinette table that was glass also. I told him I had 3 large glass pictures that needed to be packed. I asked him if it was additional monies needed to pack the glass tables and the big scree tv. He replied to me no. I asked him was he sure because I have moved numerous times and it is alwalys an upcharge. He again said no. When they get here to move me I am now being told that I have to pay for them to shrink wrap my couches, mattresses for my bed and everything that I am moving has to be put into boxes included my dinette set along with the chairs. I am now told that I will owe 300-600 extra. I feel like I have been lied to.

The guys were rude and said basically we can leave and you can have someone else to move your stuff. I would do that but I have to be at work on Monday in NC so what do you do. I feel like I have been raped. I am so frustrated and full of anguish. I am a honest person and try to be honest to people but these people are crooks. To top it off I was going to wrap my stuff and they said if I wrapped it then they would not allow it to be on their truck because it is not done professionally. So how do you win in a situation like this. They need to be put out of business.
