I have been trying to sell my condo for quite some time. I had full appraisal offer from a viable buyer and ASC completely dropped the ball. They could not even get my Realtor Co and answer, returned calls- they were basically giving us a run around. They were very unorganized to say the least. I have already delayed foreclosure once in hopes that I could finalize this, however thay have not been even the least bit helpful. Now I have a foreclosure date set for July 10, 2008 and I am just frustrated because all of this could have been avoided. What is being done to compnaies like this..my credit should not be hurt because of there negeligence. I would be interested any kind of action that would help my cause.

How can ASC drop the ball on a full payoff? In the event of foreclosure, you should be able to obtain a payoff straight thru the attorney/trustee. Now if its not a full payoff and its a short sale, I could see how they could drop the ball. Especially being a servicing company, they don't make the call on whether or not to accept it. They must get the approval from the investor.

Short sales are basically a favor from the mortgage company to borrowers that didn't live up to thier end of the deal. I don't see how you can really say the mortgage company would be ruining your credit if they don't accept an offer short of what you agreed to pay.
