Complaint Review: ASC - American Servcing Company

I had a mortage with Ownit mortage co, it was sold to American servcing company, It was over two months, before I gained knowledge as to how to send a payment, thus I became behind in my payments,,, Just What They Wanted!. My dad became ill i missed another payment, being concerned of course, I contacted them by phone, to make some arrangments to pay my arrears, I did not wish to lose my home after owning it 36 years. My payment was $948.00 and they told me that in order to make amends I waould have to pay $1,074.00 for two years,well that was you mi8ght say the end, I contacted a company whom I paid $2000.oo to negoiate for me, a rip off as well.

my home is up for sell in 7 days I have ne way in which to Stop the sale. I got behind generally because of the sale of my loan, I firmly belive that a law should exist that the company that sales your loan to another loan company give you a three month notice, as well the company which buys you home contact you within a 30 day time frame before the trans fer be made,, giving you the account number address in which to send the payment, and of course a phone contact,,,

I have lost my home however, I strongly feel that as I suggested above the federal trades commission, attorney generals make it a mandate as so purposed above, thus protecting the comsumers.Stick Laws are needed on mortages companies moreso than exixist. GB NC
