Dear Sir or Madam,

Our mortgage company, America's Servicing Company(ASC) has refused to cooperate, even though our contact Amalia at the Spanish Coalition for Housing has sent the mortgage company (ASC) hardship statements many times.

I am one of the many Chicagoans about to be foreclosed and auctioned off by the end of October, 2008. What happened? I lost my job after six years of earning 55k per year. My affordable mortgage was sold off to ASC (the worst mortgage company and one that should be investigated THEY DO NOT HELP YOU!), consequently my payments doubled. I emptied my retirement account to make my payments. I could not find any work and filed Chapter 13. No, I could not refinance since I was the major bread winner in a two income household and had no job. Now the interest rate is set to readjust AGAIN! I already pay 9.5% and 13.5%. What should I do? I am very ill and require blood transfusions every two months. I am now on disability, but it was awarded too little too late. I have Crohn's Disease, five forms of Arthritis, and Celiac Disease, as well as Chronic Anemia, and require constant blood transfusions. STRESS is the last thing I need. Will someone help me, PLEASE!

This mortgage company (America Servicing Corporation) is not happy until they rush the very life out of you. Ask Amelia at the Spanish Housing Coalition I am not her only client. Look them up on their web site 5,000 people or more have posted how corrupt they are.

Please help us. I can't lose my home please intervene before it is too late.

PLEASE CALL ME!

Thank you,

Carole xxxx

Nowhere in your mortgage note does it state they are to lower your payments if you lose income. I don't see anything predatory or illegal in what you've written.

What it boils down to...

You no longer make enough money to afford the home you are living in.

Please save yourself the stress, list the home for short sale, and find out where YOU CAN afford to live before it ends up too late and its eviction time.
