Complaint Review: Ascensius Achuo Mforteh

Another Macaw scam and it's the same as the one's I've read here. But for me it's too late since I've been ripped of $520 (AUD) by this nasty sad excuse for a human being.

I responded to an advertisement on pettrade.com.au for 12 week old macaw's and received an email the next day. In that email I was given information on how to pay and how the bird would be sent to me.

The payment was to be via Moneygram and I would receive my bird within two days.

I paid (stupid me!) and then I recieved another email saying that there was a problem and the bird was with the delivery company but would not be sent till another $400 was paid for vaccinations and insurance.

I spoke with the advertiser on the phone and questioned him about the additional charges which he apologised about but said he could do nothing about. This when I thought how stupid am I, I've been ripped off....

I requested the contact details for the delivery company which were supplied and I phoned them. The lady from the delivery company told me it was a scam and she was sorry but this was not the first time it had happened.

I traced the emails I received and after bouncing around the world I found they were origninally sent from Cameroon Mauritius.

THIS PERSON MUST BE STOPPED PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW SOMETHING.
