ASF AB Karate AB Karate gave my information to ASF internation El Paso, Texas
I enrolled my daughter into Americas Best Karate. At first the company said I would have 4 free lessons and than if interested would pay the membership fee. I had one free lesson for my daughter and when I said I could not afford the entire enrollment fee upfront they told me I could make monthly payments if they were automatic. I agreed for the payments to be withdrawn automatically. What they neglected to inform me was that a company called ASF would be taking the payments out and that I would be expected even if I cancel to continue to pay this third party companay. In September I had a miscarriage and I stopped bringing my daughter to the karate classes. I initially called to speak to someone at AB Karate and left a message. I explained on the voicemail that I had a miscarriage and my car had broken down costing me 700 to repair. I requested that I cancel my daughters enrollment at that point. This was within 30 days from the initial enrollment. When I received a call back by one of the office employees they said I could not cancel...so I continued but in October my daughter only went the first week when I suffered some financial hardship. I am not employed. The expense of the Karate classes were too much again I asked to cancel. At this time I was granted the release but was told to contact a company called ASF. I had lost the phone number and left a message with AB Karate to give the number to me once more. When I finally called ASF they told me to contact the superviser Donna Myers and after a few responses from her, the automatic payments ceased the are still billing me. With no services being rendered by AB Karate I do not understand how this is possible. The first time hearing about ASF came only when I wanted to cancel and they sent me an email refusing my request to cancel...what can I do now?
