Complaint Review: ASG

I received a call from my sister on June 20th, 2016. 
She was hysterical stating that she had been contacted by a detective 
Tami Hatcher and they were sending 2 sheriff officers to my house if
 I did not respond to them by 330pm. 
This woman shared with my sister that I was being charged with 2 felony counts 
of fraud because I owed money for a credit card I obtained. 
She also stated she had spoken to my father (an abusive alcoholic whom I have 
not spoken to in 17years) and he told her that he was not surprised that 
I had a mental illness, was a thief, and a drug addict.
 My sister and I took the initiative and contacted different authorities 
including the Larimer sheriff office to see if I had a warrant for my arrest. 
We contacted the police department in my county, the Denver District court, 
Us Attorney, Denver District DA, and the Denver District Court.
 No one had any information on me being arrested, or had my name on anything.
 A man from the district court stated that he thought this may be a scam, 
and that the case number my sister was given was in fact a phone number. 
When we contacted the number it does not identify who they are or what they are.
 My sister persisted, and they told her that it was not a scam, and if she continued
 to call she would be summoned to court for impeding an investigation. 
They also told her that they were bringing felony charges against me for theft. 
I then called them and put them on speaker phone where my husband could be 
a witness to this. They stated that my file was locked and that they were filing 
papers with the court. She at first refused to give me any information, but told
 me they were pursuing fraud and collection fraud on me. 
I asked if I was going to be arrested because I have a child at home and
 she laughed and said "No of course not. You tell someone something and they
 just run with it"! Meaning my sister was making this bigger than it was. 
We asked her who this debt was from which was from a credit card they 
say I had for originally $900. I do not remember having a credit card during 
this time because I was in school, and staying at home with my children. I had
 nothing more than child support coming in. I said I did not remember it, and
 then my husband said well what if she did not do this. The woman then stated to him 
"Well she had this credit card she just may not be telling you". Then she backed off and 
said well she may just not remember having it I guess. She also stated that my address
 they had was from my previous residence from 8 years ago. When I told her that I had
 not lived there in 8 years, she stated that it was my responsibility to notify my creditor of my move.
 I received a call from a man stating he was a process server on June 23rd, 2016.
 He stated that he would be at my home between 3-4pm and it was in my best interest to be there. 
He did not show up. My husband then received a call on June 24th from this man stating the
 same thing and he would be here that day same time. My husband told him we would be
 here and he did not show up. I know by the information I have been reading on the laws
 federally and by state that the things that were stated to me are against the law. 
We are planning on contacting the police today to file a report on their interaction with family members. 
They shared private information regarding a debt they are stating I owe. I have 3 voicemails I have saved
 that I plan on sharing with the police to try and verify who they are. I have no reason to believe that this is a debt I owe,
 but rather a company trying to destroy my life for monetary purposes. A criminal record would cause my termination
 due to the fact I am employed by a school district. I will not allow that to happen so I will be fighting this entirely.
