Complaint Review: Ashland Service Center - Ashland Road Service Towing

Ashland Service Center - Ashland Road Service Towing "Stan" the shop mechanic supervisor kept delaying collision repair on my dually pickup truck with many absurd excuses for over 2 months. The hood still was grossly misaligned after he said he fixed it and tried to blame me for paying $300 instead of $3,000 for repairs. He charged the insurance co storage fees to the max. I received Front-end damage to my Ford dually pickup truck on October 28, 2003 due to another motorist failing to stop at a stop sign and intersection. I called AAA to report this and have a tow truck tow it to a garage. AAA called Ashland Road Service-Towing. The driver towed my truck to it's repair garage, Ashland Service Center.

Stan, the mechanic supervisor, said it would cost $3,000 to fix the front-end and straighten the chassis. I told him I can't afford that and I just want it to be safe to drive and pass state inpection. He said he cold fix it for $300 plus cost for any parts. We agreed on this. I kept checking by telephone every other day on the status of the work to my truck. He would say his mechanic was sick and did not come in, he was waiting for parts, we are closing for holidays, I am back-logged with other jobs, he just did not get to it, yet, etc. This went on from Oct.28,'03 until Jan.4,'04.
