Ashley Funiture Homestore stealing money: canceled order - agreed to 20%fee: they refuse to send back the money - Charllote North Carolina
7/31/05 ordered $1,768.66 of funiture: Cancelled order 8/17/05 - because I had to move back to NY. I spoke with Suzie: She advised refund check of $1439.61 (which included 20%fee) would be mailed to me in New York in 7-10 days.
Never received check - have called them numerous times - and they say they will check it out & call back. They never do.
After 2 weeks of calling I spoke to the so-called owner Charlie Malouf & two managers Tim McGuire & Cheyenne Tolbert who told me that it dosn't matter if my name is on the reciept - I don't live in NC anymore. They are going to deliver the furniture to the North Carolina address on the receipt.
The receipt is in my name and so is the receipt for the Protection of the Funiture./ I need help.
