I purchased two sofas from Ashley Furniture about 4 months ago, both of which have defects.  I have been dealing with Customer Service all this time, and now have been told that they will not do anything to help.  My one sofa sectional is all wrinkled and looks about 10 years old, and the other has discoloration.  I had to pay $50 to have a technician come out to review the furniture - he stated that the sectional did not have enough "stuffing" , and the other sofa was becoming discolored due to something at the bottom of sofa "bleeding through the fabric".  When he went back and reported to Ashley, they claim he stated nothing was wrong, however, he told me the above statements, and also told me that I would have to work really hard and get really angry for Ashley to do anything for me - he stated that they always say no, even if the furniture is defective.  Why do I have a one year warranty if that are not going to stand by it?  I have spoken to Customer Service several times throughout the last few months, sent pictures, paid the $50, and after last week, they promised me a call, and as of today had not received one, so I called them.  The supervisor was supposed to get back to me in 10 minutes and that is now almost 2 hours ago - not sure where to turn - this is the worst furniture store I have ever dealt with, and unfortunately, the worst quality of furniture I have ever seen, and yet it cost me almost $3,000.  I need to know where I go from here - do I hire an attorney?
