Complaint Review: Ashley Furniture Home Store

My husband and I went to Ashley Home store to purchase a table.  We found the one we wanted and purchased it.  It was an expensive table and with the chairs totaled about $1,000. 

Less that A YEAR after purchasing the table, we sat down to dinner and heard a loud SNAP.  The bottom pannel of the table (that hold the leaf in it) compleatly broke off.  This caused the metal runners that hold it to the table to snap and it shot through the top of the table compleatly ruining it.  The table literally broke into 2 pieces.  When the pieces hit the groud, it ripped pieces of the corners of the table off.   It is a horrible mess.

My husband and I both contated Ashely furniture on multiple occasions through email and phone with no respones.  I contacted them via their facebook page and got a reply that they were sorry but all Ashley stores are independantly owned and there was nothing they could do. 

After several attempts, my husband went down directly to the store.  He was told that since the table was no longer under warrenty, they couldn't do anythign for us. 

We are left with a table that looks like a piece of crap.  It was less than a year old and cost us a lot of money.  We will NEVER shop there again.
