We purchased a leather couch and chair with a 5 year protection plan. Ten months later we find an accidental tear in the couch. Ashley turns us over to the protection plan company (Montage Furniture Services) who deny the claim. 6 weeks of calling the store, the protection plan company and finally engaging the BBB and NJ State Attorney Generals office before Ashley sends a service rep who orders a replacement part which then miraculously has Montage then agree to replace the sofa.

Are we given an option of which solution to select? Nope. It isn't tillAshley sends me the replacement part and I call to arrange repair that I am told, toss the part, the protection company is replacing the couch. Sounds great. Not so fast. Turns out replacing the couch means the protection plan is automatically cancelled and now I have paid for 5 years of coverage and the leather chair and ottoman have no protection and the new sofa has no protection. If I was able to accept the repair, the plan would be I effect.
