We put together the down payment for furniture including delivry fees. It has been over four weeks. They said it could take 6 wks. Thats fine. Now we have a payment due. They told us not to worry about that, due to the fact that we had know furniture. He told us in the store that it would not be a problam becouse delivry issues they did not have. There was know way that we would have to pat for furniture we would not have. Ashley as a curtisy to us pushed our payment day up in hopes that the furniture would be delivered. No furniture. I was called about my payment date. After i had already talked to Randy. And was yet assured that I would not have to make a payment. Your payment is due on 7/23/09. No furniture. Randy told me that he had done all he could and that it was TRS who wanted them to get customers payments whether they had furniture are not, and that I could pay 54.00 dollars on the account. I got angry and said well can i get some of my money back and just call it a day. He reminds me that the contract states that it will go aginst my credit. And there is no money after thier 30% cancellation policy. My thing is just do not go to Ashley. They are covered by their contract that we sign blindly. I hope that thier is a lawsuit brought aginst IRS and Ashley for , poor customer care. Taking ones money and not delivering items in an timley manner, as well as having contracts that set consumers up to fail.
