ASHLINN SHETLAND SHEEPDOGS Bought 2 pups from her January/08 still no registration papers and one of the pups died from genetic problems. Breeder ignores all my emails and phone calls Ocala Florida
I bought 2 Registered shetland Sheepdogs from Tessa Beard of Ashlinn Shetland sheepdogs in January, 2008. As of Jan 6, 2009 I still have no registration papers from this breeder. In October, 2008 the female pup died from genetic problems. I contacted the breeder several times and she wanted the pup posted which I paid over 1000.00 to be done, she also wanted a letter from my vet which she got also in October. Since this information has been sent to her she has ignored my phone calls and emails. I want people to be aware of breeders like this. When I first emailed her she was so caring and passionate about her dogs and breeding program, she has a very nice web page and had me 100% fooled into believing she was a reputable breeder. She even had me fooled when I wrote to her about my sick puppy and told me she would replace her and felt very bad.
I have contacted AKC about the papers which they are now helping me recover, I am also hoping AKC will also do something about the pup that passed away
I am pretty sure nothing will come of it and she will go on breeding sick dogs. Please be aware that the world is full of breeders like this and if I can save at least one person from dealing with this Tessa Beard and her sister Angel Maria of Amatras shetland sheepdogs who has shut her page down due to a nervous break down
I am hoping these breeders will retire and save the world some grief
