Ashton told me that i was definitely approved for the place the day I looked at the apartment. I tight that was weird seeing as I hasn't even filed out an application. And it was a very big apartment complex. I mean huge. He gave me his web address and yid me to fill put the application just for the record. And part the $ 35 for the credit check fee. I got excited and went home and paid right away and emailed my app. The next morning he called and said everything is great and that all I need for a deposit was $ 500 but since it was over paypal they're was a % 10 fee. After doing this and telling every one of my friends about my new place problems started to happen. A couple days later he called and said that I didn't make enough money to get the apartment and that my credit want good enough. First thing I have two jobs and no bills. Just a car payment. Second he hadn't even asked for proof of income. So how would he knew that I didn't make enough?? the apartment was a small studio and was definitely in my budget. My apartment currently was twice as much and I got that with no problems. I told him I could send over whatever info he needed and was sure I could with it out. Well that was not his plan. He'd rather keep my $$ 550 and not answer my calls. I tried carling the number on his website but no one ever picks up. I'm sure it's just him. I also contacted the apartment building and they said there was nothing they ould do because he doesn't work for them!! What a joke. An attorney will cost me more than what I would get back so there's nothing I can do. I'm sure he does this to many people. I am a young girl and maybe I lol sod. Up don't know. But he is a thief. I'm glad that there are others that are coming out about this to. Hopefully we can warn and help others do they don't lose money

Dear dishonest person!

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

You applied with our company for a studio. As you mentioned we showed you the unit and you liked it. Then you submitted an application and from what mentioned here you did get approved. I clearly remember you.

We checked your credit and submitted your application to the owner of the building for approval. The owner of the building did approve your credit. The owner of the building asked us to get income verification from you and that was what we asked from you.  then we did not hear from you for a while.

Couple weeks later you called us informing us that you were desperate and needed a place urgently. We informed you that we rented the unit we showed you but another one opened up. We showed you another unit and you were OK with it and asked me you will do anything to get this unit. I told you that we approved your credit but we need income verification from you. You said you were self employed and was hard for you to show proof of income. So I asked you for tax returns. You said that you were cheating the IRS and your tax returns shows no income. So I asked you for bank statements showings flow of income in your account. Although your credit report showed you had bank accounts, you lied to me that you had no bank accounts and you were all cash person.

In your credit application you mentioned you were working for a promotion company and we called them but they did not exist. Finally I called you, asked you to be honest with me and tell me what you do. You said it doesn't matter you make plenty of money in the streets. This means you are either a DRUG DEALER or whatever you do in the streets to make money. I advised you to go to a different  building because I did not want my client to be exposed to people like you.

You mentioned you called the building and we did not work for them. How can we show you apartments twice with keys in hand without authorization from the property owner to get inside the building?

Paypal fees are 3% I have no idea where you came up with 10%.

You did not get us any money for deposit because you could not provide us proof of income. Paypal gives you receipt of deposit. Do you have that by any chance?

You did not provide your name clearly indicating you are hiding something.

We are very sorry that you did not get that apartment but making up silly stories that does not make any sense because you are mad is very disturbing.

We wish you luck!
