Well I signed up for what I thought was a real college distance learning program through PCDI. The next day I got the call from the so called school, and they enrolled me into ASHWORTH COLLEGE.

About 1 week later I got my Materials, Lessons and my 1st book (INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS). For the 1st week I studied hard everyday and reviewed for hours. Ater that week was up, I sent in my first Lesson. Then within the next day in the mail I recieve the monthly tuition amount ($71) I owed them. Well funny thing is I would have been studying today RIGHT NOW being my 2nd actual week with them for lesson 2 but, thankfully I had some doubts about how everything was looking. It seems all too EASY!!! So I get on my computer this morning and search around the first site I went to was (city.ask.com).

I type in the address of ASHWORTH COLLEGE and it says there was no college of that name, so then I just type in "colleges" and the address and a whole list of colleges come up but NO ASHWORTH COLLEGE, NO PCDI, and NO JAMES MADISON HIGH SCHOOL so I started to get really suspicious???

The next site I went on to search was my good home site, I type in just the address and it shows ASHWORTH COLLEGE, PCDI AND JAMES MADDISON HIGH SCHOOL.
But as I scrolled down more I ran into ripoffreport.com and it said ASHWORTH COLLEGE RIP OFF!!!

So I read it and yup!!! there it was how stupid do I feel??? Well not so stupid concidering I actually "GOT THE BEST OF THEM" YEA! that $5 fee with a bank account to get you enrolled, well I did all that only my bank had just shut down my account meaning NO MORE ACCOUNT!!! So the SCAMMERS NEVER did get any money from me at all. And today I was supose to send in my payment,

BUT THANKS TO THIS SITE!! I JUST SAVED MYSELF FROM GETTING RIPPED OFF! Yea im just about to go call them and cancle my enrollment and they could shove their $300-$400 WITHDRAW FEE because im NOT GONNA PAY IT!!!

My experience with PCDI.

This is my contact with PCDI! Guaranteed I will not be dealing with these people!

I tried this with the info@pcdi.com and
studentservices@pcdi.com and got a Daemon
error so maybe you can help.

I just got off the phone with one of your operators at the 8oo# and I was not impressed at all. Matter of fact it down right pissed me off!

I have all the info I need from your website. There is no need for your operators to ask for or you to require all my contact information in order to answer one question!

Now with that out of the way I need to know one thing.

With this program,
"Interest-free monthly tuition. SAVE $60.00 with
AutoPay!"
"Select the Automatic Payment Plan and your
registration fee and credit application fee will be waived."

I only need to know what the monthly payment will be and for how long.

Also, now that you have my e-mail address, I expect I will recieve only ONE e-mail from you and that is to be with an answer to my question! I would expect that you are a reputable company and would not like to be
reported for spamming otherwise.

Thank you, XXXX.

It's true, there 100% a acredited. I felt the same way at first, but after futher researching their not a scamm. I got to Upper Iowa University and Ashworth. I have had no problems with the credits transfering over. not only do they transfer over, but because their lagit my work covers the full cost of the school. My work and Upper Iowa where able to locate the school with out any problems. The school also offers financial aid and assist with the militarys GI bill. if they were a scamm they would not be backed the the government. If your worried about their name and people not knowing who they are then do your AA through them and transfer the credits to a university in your home town and gradute with your BA under that university name. Its a fast way to get your education done if you have a lot to complete. good luck!!

Ashworth is legit..

Actually, you were not scammed. Ashworth is not a fancy big name school, but they are legitimate. The school is institutionally accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.

The United States Department of Education directory of accredited schools is located here: http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.asp

If you are unsure about whether a school is legitimate, check with this governmental database. As a general rule, if a school is listed in the department's database, it is properly accredited. This means it has met minimum quality requirements.
