Ask.com has a term of service that says you can NOT do all these illegal things. But then it has a clause that says we are not responsible if these people on the site do not follow these rules. Its like use it at your own risk. But I have to ask myself how true that statement is. If companies advertise on them dos Ask.com not have a third party deep pocket responsiblity to make sure they are legal? They are making money on the ad.I am not an attorney but it seems not ethical to me. Some of the companies they advertise do trademark characters.Others are doing stripping on sights that cater to kids entertainment.Does that all match up to ASK.com code of conduct? I can not help but to feel that they are promoting under ground economy when they allow these companies to advertise every where in every city. These companies can not possible have employees or follow all the city and local laws when there ads are in every city. I think it is time for us to Ask questions. The first one I want to ask is are you a foreign corporation to CA or a corporation since you are in Oakland CA? I need to check on this. And according to your terms of agreement do the owners of the trademark really need to write you a letter to ask you to remove trademark? Now how does that work with these companies that are doing 250 trademark characters. I see they are even doing Frozen from Disney.[ Tips @Disney .com] You have a disclamer and people are tricked into believing that all this is okay. It is not okay, people are having strangers come into there homes with no paper trail handling there kids.Under ground economy robes the state for social service, Foster care, Cps, and head start so a few greedy people can get rich . Lets call it what it is, possible Stealing. These are my personal opinions. Oh ya, Strippers on family sights,does not make your company look ethical.I think people need to ASK you these questions.

I do not accept a word you have said about my rip off or myself. You said that I would do the same thing looking for loop holes as the web sights have. Wrong, that is your thinking not mine. I was offered many chances to do the same and I walked away. I am sure that seems crazy to some one if money is all you care about. I just went out to eat and watched a teen age street kid looking in the trash for food. More then ever I see that we must take a stand against under ground economy and help the children in our country. Are you that selfish that you can not see right from wrong? So let me get this straight I am the crazy one because I think companies who are doing questinable illegal stuff should not get peoples credit information!! Thank you for clearing that up for me wise one. Still have not found a corporation in CA for ASK or IAC search and media.
You think no one reads this stuff, guess again. The right people read this. I love that this forum is used in court cases all the time. Information about companies gathered from this sight. Read the home page. I thank God for the man who had the courage to stand up for free speach and do this sight. He has changed the world and is a great guy. You would fall over if you could see what I have accomplished with the help of this sight for children thanks to him. You say this is the wrong place to write this the kids in our nation are being ripped off by under ground economy. Families are ripped off because they believe that the people coming into there homes are licensed and insured so they hand them there credit and there kids. The companies like Disney are being ripped off of there trademarks. The people out there trying to follow the laws are being ripped off with competitors that are not playing fair. If this was the wrong forum Rip off would not put this up.The search engines like ASK do not need to police there sights. They can do what they want, but we all have the same laws to follow,its called natural consequences. But for me I rather think of all of us little people who are being ripped off like the kid on the street. These are my personal opinions .

I checked and you are Not a corporation in CA. You also do not have a foreign corporation in CA listed that I could find. If this is wrong please tell us how to find it.

Try and use a little logic, if you have any that is. ASK is a search engine. YOU are asking that ASK be more proactive about content. But its NOT ASKs job to do so. That is on the INDIVIDUAL websites. To expect ASK to monitor EVERY site on the web is not only silly but its a task that would costs a LOT of money. So in order to do what YOU want ASK would have to charge EVERY PERSON who visited their search engine a ton of cash. While Im 100% sure YOU THINK you are informing the world, you are actually NOT!! Just as YOU would do, the individual websites have found loop holes to benefit themselves. Its NOTHING MORE then YOU would do for yourself if you had the chance. Is it shady?? YOU BET!!!! But its ALSO highly unrealistic to expect a search engine to be a internet cop. The task is TOO BIG for any one company or business to tackle on their own. Since YOU feel like being a internet reporter, where is the "scoop" on the BIGGER offenders?? Where is the post for Google?? Or Yahoo?? Im sure if you spent even half the time you took to write out this crazy you would see that the bigger search engines are even more blatant in their flaunting of the TOS. YOU are in the wrong forum for THIS ARTICLE. Try submitting your thoughts to ACTUALLY online news publications. YOU will reach a bigger audience with greater circulation. The ONLY thing YOU have accomplished by posting here is to have anyone who reads your post think your just a bit crazy. YOU have NOT been ripped off in ANY WAY by ASK. THAT is what this site is dedicated to....Ripoffs.
