These folks are running a bonafide scam. The product is ineffective even after 2 months. When a third shipment arrived, I immediately returned it unopened with the words "Return to Sender, Cancel Order/Membership." When yet another shipment arrived the next month, I returned that similarly.

When I saw the UNAUTHORIZED charges on my Visa account, I called the toll free number to clear things up. Things only got worse as I tried to talk reasonably with their representative. He acknowledged their receipt of the returned product, but said that my returns, even with the message on the box, did not "qualify" as a cancellation. I was told that I had needed to actually call or write to satisfy their requirements. When asked if it wasn't apparent/obvious what my returns expressed, the representative stone-walled.

During this futile and frustrating conversation, I was interrupted many times by the rep. When I pointed out this rudeness to him, he was unapologetic and continued the stone-walling. He claimed that by law the unopened product could not be resold. When I asked to talk to a supervisor, I was told none were available, and that they would just tell me the same things if I did talk to one.

At this point I asked the rep his name and/or employee I.D. so that I might send a letter of complaint to his employer. He would only give me his first name. Supposedly, the conversation had been taped, so I noted the date and time and ended the conversation by expressing my deep disappointment in both the representative himself AND the policies/approach of the company.

At this point I am going to investigate the company's so-called "Money Back Guarantee" feature. I am not hopeful;
perhaps spreading the word regarding this scam is the most that can be done.

If anyone out there is considering doing business with this this "outfit," I very strongly recommend against it.

Q: Does Avlimil come with a money-back guarantee?
A: Yes. Although there is no money-back guarantee on monthly shipments, women who try Avlimil for a year and are not completely satisfied are eligible to receive our 12-Month Money-Back Guarantee.

Berkeley products are effective for most people, but individual results will vary. For that reason, we generally do not give refunds unless there are special circumstances. If you believe you deserve a refund, please call Customer Care at 1-866-834-1715, 8:00 AM to Midnight EST, Monday through Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!
