If you are a handy person, and like to fix your own equipment when you can, before you purchase any Asko appliance you should be aware that:

1) Nobody but an authorized service agent can get a copy of a service manual
2) If you order parts from Asko and you are not an authorized service agent the part comes without a warranty
3) You will not be able to get any assistance from Asko in the diagnosis of a repair problem
4) You will not be able to get any assistance from Asko in terms of information which might assist you in performing a repair.

In other words, every repair will be unnecessarily expensive unless you are able to take complete responsibility for performing it on your own without any assistance from them.
