Complaint Review: Asos

Asos Asos.com Limited I purchased $263 dollars worth of clothes from the company and when I received the packages I had to pay $105 in cash of delivery charges which they never told me about. The postal service said they don't know what it is for and that the company asked them to collect that. Clothing is very cheap quality and badly sewn London England

I placed two orders for clothing from this online website one was on the 7th June in the amount of C$175.53 and the other order was placed on the 8th June in the amount of C$86.42. I was supposed to receive the packages on the 16th June but the packages arrived on the 23rd June and instead of being delivered to my house my postal service had been told by this company to hold the packages. I  went on the 24th June to my post office and was told that to collect the packages I had to pay cash on delivery charges.

I asked the people at the post office to explain and was told that it was a company charge and they did not know why. I had to pay $39.56 for one package and $68.96 for the other package and if I did not pay I was not allowed to collect the packages. I paid and collected the packages when I opened the packages the clothing was not as advertised the quality was cheap and the clothes had defects such as being stitched poorly.

The clothes fit very awkward. I have sent two emails to this company asking for a return shipping label and asking about the extra money that I was charged for cash on delivery but I have not received a proper response. They keep saying they will get back to me. I paid so much money for very cheap quality clothing.
