They sent me an email, and said I was pre-approved, unsecured master card. I applied on Friday, quickly received card on Monday! I was prompted to activate, a $25.00 charge would apply.

After calling, automated system asked repeatedly for my bank information. It never activated. I called the customer service number on the back of the card, it is nearly impossible to see, and got a foreign lady that asked even more info, and asked if I wanted to make the payment. I said " I don't think so, this whole process seems skiddish". She said it was ok, if I went ahead and paid now, there would be a $14.00 phone payment charge! When I asked in addition to the $25.00?? She said, "um, we charge for it, yes."

I stated: "On the form that came with the card, it states a phone number must be called to activate, then asks for the $25.00 activation fee, and it does not say anything about a fee on top of that for calling! SHe said" I put you on hold, let me see what I can do. I hung up!

On the back side of the form, it goes on to say a $150.00 annual fee will be charged, and then a $29.00 opening fee, and so by the time you pay this and the "activation fee(s)" you are actually granted $232.00. The rest is DUE immediately. What a joke!
